The ductless heat pump systems uses a newer, less environmentally harmful refrigerant called R-410A. It also only requires a 110 or 220 volt AC power depending on the the rated capacity. It has a very quiet oscillating fan that delivers conditioned air more evenly to all parts of the room so you don't have to worry about "hot" or "cold" spots.
